Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist in Nuclear Medicine to join their team at Lions Gate Hospital in North Vancouver, BC.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, ensuring accurate results and patient safety.
- Prepare patients for examinations, operate equipment, and administer radiopharmaceuticals as required.
- Maintain imaging equipment, monitor areas for radiation, and dispose of hazardous materials responsibly.
- Certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) in Nuclear Medicine.
- Completion of 12 Continuing Education credits in bone densitometry or equivalent certification from the International Society for Clinical Densitometry (ISCD).
The estimated salary for this position ranges from $43,000 to $53,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
