We are seeking a highly qualified Horticulture Instructor to join our faculty in Truro, Nova Scotia. As an instructor, you will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in horticulture and coordinating teaching assistant positions.

About the Opportunity

This is a full-time, three-year position with the possibility of renewal. The successful candidate will teach in Fuzhou, China for approximately 6 months per year and return to the Department of Plant, Food, and Environmental Sciences in Truro, Nova Scotia during non-teaching periods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach first and second year courses in horticulture
  • Coordinate teaching assistant positions
  • Participate in departmental activities and service tasks
  • Travel to China for teaching duties
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have a graduate degree (MSc minimum) in agriculture or a related field and a minimum of two years of teaching experience at the undergraduate level. You should also be able to travel to and spend time in China.
