About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Personal Support Worker (PSW) to join our team in the Cochrane area. As a PSW with CarePartners, you will play a vital role in supporting patients in their homes and communities, promoting independence, dignity, and overall well-being.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $20.96 to $23.20 per hour, plus a special $750 bonus for signing with us. You will also receive paid mileage at 0.45 per/km, plus travel time, as well as a robust total rewards program that includes health & dental benefits, access to group discounts, and a flexible scheduling system that allows you to choose your hours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as personal care, household tasks, respite care, medication assistance, and special functions.
  • Promote a safe environment by demonstrating proper body mechanics, safe transfer techniques, and home safety practices.
  • Provide cognitive, social, and emotional support to patients, helping them maintain their independence and dignity.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, including special diets, using proper food preparation, storage, and hygiene practices.
Requirements
  • A strong desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A valid driver's license and vehicle, as well as a valid certificate as a Personal Support Worker, Internationally Trained Nurse, Health Care Aid, Developmental Support Worker, Home Support Worker, or enrollment in a Nursing program.
  • Current vulnerable sector check screening and a clear background check.
Bonus Opportunities

New Ontario PSW graduates may be eligible to receive a $10,000 bonus, payable at 6 months and 12 months, in exchange for a commitment to work with us in a Full-Time position for 12 months. Additionally, relocation bonuses may be available for those willing to relocate to rural, remote, or northern areas.
