About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Associate, Corporate Access Specialist to join our team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our Global Corporate Access department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our business strategies and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate management teams, sales teams, and other stakeholders to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships.
  • Event Planning and Execution: Manage or back-up corporate marketing scheduling and strategy, including coordinating non-deal and deal roadshows, industry conferences, and other investor events.
  • Database Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our Global Equity contact management system, as well as third-party client databases such as Tier 1/Salesforce, MeetMax, Broker Trak, Dealogic, Thomson One, and IPREO.
  • Marketing Intelligence: Provide marketing intelligence and coordination of corporate access initiatives, including logistical support for efficient event execution.
  • Analysis and Reporting: Develop detailed analysis of shareholder information and comparative analysis to produce target lists of buy-side investors for corporate access roadshows.
  • Operational Support: Assist with sales desk phone management, invoice reviews, and other administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Education: University degree in a relevant area of study.
  • Experience: Proven performance in a fast-paced, team environment, with adaptability and professionalism.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical, decision-making, and organizational skills, with database experience and knowledge of internal operations within the organization.
  • Certifications: Completion of CSC, CPH (or to be obtained within 24 months of starting position).
