Restaurant Operations Manager

At Symposium Café Restaurant and Lounge, we are seeking a skilled Restaurant Manager to lead our team and drive business success. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of food quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and manage budgets to control costs and optimize revenue
- Evaluate and improve daily operations to enhance customer experience and increase efficiency
- Monitor and analyze sales data to inform labor and inventory decisions
- Supervise and train staff to ensure excellent service and high-quality food preparation
- Recruit, hire, and onboard new team members to maintain a strong and diverse team
- Plan and coordinate events, promotions, and marketing initiatives to drive sales and growth
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, liquor laws, and other relevant standards
- Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment to maintain a clean and efficient kitchen and dining area
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Collaborate with the management team to achieve business objectives and drive growth
- 1-2 years of experience in a restaurant management role
- College or CEGEP diploma in a related field (e.g., hospitality, business)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and point-of-sale systems
