About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Clinician to provide high-quality care to individuals and families affected by mental illness and substance use disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive assessment, treatment, and support services to clients and their families.
  • Develop and implement recovery-oriented treatment plans in collaboration with clients and their families.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to determine best approaches to care and assess the need for emergent crisis intervention.
  • Facilitate client utilization of community services and rehabilitative programs.
  • Provide advocacy for clients and their families, including information about appeal processes and access to information.
Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Counselling Psychology or other relevant social or health sciences discipline.
  • Two (2) years' recent, related experience working with clients and families with, or affected by, mental illness and substance use disorders.
  • Eligible for registration with relevant professional association.
  • Valid Class V British Columbia driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for business-related purposes.
