Job Description

Vantix Systems Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to support the company's analytics initiatives and contribute to the development of business intelligence solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Business Requirements Analysis: Understand the company's business objectives and devise technical solutions that align with these goals.
  2. Data Understanding and Relationships: Analyze the nuances of the data and its relationships to build reputable results.
  3. Dashboard Development: Leverage technology to build full-function, easy-to-use dashboards and solutions.
  4. Data Collection and Storage: Collect, transform, and store data required for business intelligence and analytics.
  5. Database Pipeline Architecture: Build, test, and maintain database pipeline architectures.
  6. Data Streamlining: Streamline data collection methods to create automated and easy-to-use routines.
  7. Data Cleansing and Validation: Perform cleansing, processing, and validating the data to ensure its quality.
  8. Data Exploration and Visualization: Explore and visualize data using Python and business intelligence tools.
  9. Documentation: Document all data pipelines and transformations created.
  10. Standards and Best Practices: Follow standards for data analysis at Vantix Systems Inc. to promote maintainability and testability, and recommend improvements to practices where appropriate.

Requirements

  • Strong Proficiency in SQL
  • Strong Proficiency in Scripting Languages (e.g. PowerShell, Python, R)
  • Strong Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills
  • Strong Proficiency with Data Architecture and Best Practices
  • Experience with Data Cleaning and Preparation
  • Experience with Business Intelligence Tools (e.g. Power BI, Incorta) and Data Frameworks (e.g. Hadoop/Spark)
  • Understanding of Analytical Models and Data Structure
  • Strong Multi-Tasking Skills
  • Ability to Adapt to Changing Priorities
  • Ability to Work in a Team Environment or Independently
  • Ability to Manage Time Efficiently
  • Ability to Manage Stress in a High-Pressure Environment
  • Understanding of Business Intelligence, Analytics, and Visualization Best Practices
