Data Analyst Job Description

Vantix Systems Inc. is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to support our analytics initiatives and contribute to the success of our Data Management Program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a deep understanding of business requirements to design effective technical solutions.
  • Analyze data nuances and relationships to build reliable results.
  • Design and implement full-function dashboards and solutions using business intelligence tools.
  • Collect, transform, and store data for business intelligence and analytics.
  • Build, test, and maintain database pipeline architectures.
  • Streamline data collection methods for automated and easy-to-use routines.
  • Cleanse, process, and validate data for analysis.
  • Explore and visualize data using Python and business intelligence tools.
  • Document data pipelines and transformations.
  • Adhere to data analysis standards and recommend improvements.
Requirements:
  • Strong proficiency in SQL.
  • Strong proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell, Python, R).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong proficiency with data architecture and best practices.
  • Experience with data cleaning and preparation.
  • Experience using business intelligence tools and data frameworks.
  • Understanding of analytical models and data structuring.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills and adaptability.
  • Ability to work in a team environment or independently.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to manage stress in a high-pressure environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Agile methodologies.
  • Team Foundation Server (TFS) - Code Management.
