  • Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Team Leader to join our team at POPULAR PIZZA. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing food service teams and a proven track record of meeting work schedules and maintaining quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and implement work schedules to meet business needs.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain efficient operations.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring quality and presentation meet our standards.
  • Train staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and manage inventory levels.
  • Hire and manage food service staff to meet business needs.
  • Ensure compliance with quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on operations, sales, and customer feedback.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service management role.
  • Permanent employment with 35 hours of work per week.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Work Environment
  • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and physical demands.
  • English language proficiency.
