Join Our Team as a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist

Closing the Gap Healthcare Group is seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist, you will have the opportunity to work with children and families in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality care to children with rehabilitation needs in our School-Based Rehabilitation Program.
  • Work collaboratively with families, schools, and healthcare systems to provide patient care.
  • Provide short-term consultation, training, and intervention for specific rehabilitation needs.
  • Assess and treat pediatric clients with various needs, including speech sound delays and disorders, motor speech challenges, stuttering, and voice disorders.
  • Thrive in a self-starting environment with minimal supervision.
  • Work independently while being a reliable team player.
  • Add, assign, and supervise Communication Disorders Assistants as clinically appropriate.
Requirements:
  • Current registration as a Speech-Language Pathologist with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario.
  • Valid G2/G driving license and access to a reliable insured vehicle.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and policies applicable to practice.
