Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Enforcement Officer to join our team in Whitehorse. As an Enforcement Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring public safety and enforcing municipal and provincial regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct inspections of licensed establishments to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Enforce animal control regulations by issuing warnings and citations to owners
  • Investigate complaints from commercial and residential property owners and occupants
  • Perform duties related to capturing and impounding lost, homeless, and dangerous animals
  • Prepare accident reports and investigate properties in violation of zoning and related by-laws
Benefits

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
