- Oversee the Evaluation of the Cost and Quality of Goods or Services: Conduct regular reviews to ensure compliance with quality and cost standards.
- Authorize the Development of Specifications for Products or Services: Collaborate with suppliers to develop product specifications that meet business requirements.
- Manage Contracts: Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
- Review and Process Claims against Suppliers: Investigate and resolve claims against suppliers in a timely and fair manner.
- Oversee the Analysis of Data and Information: Analyze data to inform business decisions and drive process improvements.
- Oversee the Preparation of Reports: Ensure timely and accurate reporting of supply chain performance metrics.
- Advise Senior Management: Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to senior management on supply chain matters.
- Organize and Maintain Inventory: Develop and implement inventory management processes to ensure accurate tracking and control of inventory levels.
- Resolve Delivery and Other Problems with Suppliers: Collaborate with suppliers to resolve delivery and other issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Negotiate Prices, Discounts, Credit Terms and Transportation Arrangements with Suppliers: Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers to ensure cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
- Maintain Records on Inventory Control System: Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of inventory levels and movements.
- Establish Delivery Schedules: Collaborate with suppliers to establish delivery schedules that meet business requirements.
- Assign, Coordinate and Review Projects and Programs: Lead and manage projects and programs to drive business objectives and improve supply chain performance.
- Plan, Organize and Oversee Operational Logistics of the Organization: Develop and implement operational logistics processes to ensure efficient and effective delivery of products to customers.
- Plan, Organize, Direct, Control and Evaluate Daily Operations: Lead and manage daily operations to ensure business objectives are met.
- 5 years or more of experience in supply chain management or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive business decisions and process improvements.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and multiple priorities.
- Dependability, flexibility, initiative, judgement, and a team player attitude to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
