Job Title: Supply Chain Director

Nations Fresh Food is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Director to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our supply chain strategy, ensuring the efficient and effective flow of goods and services from suppliers to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Budget Management: Plan and control budget and expenditures, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Hire, train, direct, and motivate a team of 3-4 people to achieve supply chain objectives.
  • Purchasing and Procurement: Plan, develop, and implement purchasing policies and procedures, overseeing the evaluation of the cost and quality of goods or services.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and control of stock levels.
  • Logistics and Distribution: Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics, including transportation, warehousing, and delivery.
  • Contract Management: Authorize the development of specifications for products or services, manage contracts, and review and process claims against suppliers.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Oversee the analysis of data and information, preparing reports to inform business decisions.
  • Senior Management Support: Advise senior management on supply chain matters, providing strategic guidance and recommendations.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience: 5 years or more in a supply chain or related field.
  • Skills: MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS Word, inventory control software, negotiation, and excellent written communication.
