Job Summary:

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing financial activities, preparing financial reports, analyzing financial data, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with regulations and accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models to ensure accurate financial planning and decision-making.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and provide recommendations to management.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Financial Reporting, Budget Management, and Financial Analysis skills
  • Experience with Accounting Software and Financial Systems
  • Knowledge of Tax Laws and Regulations
  • Attention to Detail and Strong Analytical Skills
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
  • CPA designation or relevant certification
  • 5 years experience preferable
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field an asset
