Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Desk Operations Manager to join our team at Pomeroy Lodging LP. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the execution of front office operations, supervising staff, and performing daily duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the front office team to ensure exceptional guest service and quality first impressions at the front desk, lobby, and guest entrance.
- Mentor and develop team members to anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly, and warmly welcome all guests.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships and communication with all departments and team members to support the hotel's goals and objectives.
- Provide direct reports with the resources, training, direction, coaching, and feedback required for their continuous development.
- Create schedules that meet peak demand periods while delivering budgeted labor costs and managing expense lines within budgeted parameters.
- Execute assigned deliverables in a timely, efficient, and high-quality manner.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hotel front desk position.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership role.
- Proficient in English.
- Tech-savvy with experience in a hotel property management system (PMS).
Working Conditions
This position may include dayshift, afternoon, or evening shifts any day of the week or weekend, and occasional night audit shifts if needed. The role requires long periods of standing and may involve lifting and bending. There may be periods of independent work and brief periods of exposure to cold air due to the location of the front desk.
