About the Role

We are seeking a Financial Operations Manager to join our team, responsible for managing all aspects of full cycle cloud accounting engagements. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and processes, as well as experience working with cloud-based software.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage accounting operations, including set-up of client files, completion of budgets, and administrative planning.
  • Oversee quality of cloud accounting engagements and resolve technology issues.
  • Reconcile GL accounts, including cash, bank reconciliations, prepaid expenses, and point of sale (POS) uploads.
  • Identify issues and errors, investigate discrepancies, and develop resolutions.

You will also have the opportunity to:

  • Develop trusted advisor relationships by gaining an in-depth understanding of clients' business objectives and needs.
  • Provide support to clients and team members regarding cloud accounting software.
  • Negotiate and implement new ideas and approaches to improve work processes.

The ideal candidate will have a certificate or diploma in business administration or accounting, experience working with cloud-based software, and proven people management, relationship building, and leadership skills.
