Côté Gold is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Operations Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and processing payroll, as well as supporting the finance department with various financial tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process payroll
  • Process payroll for Ontario and Quebec employees
  • Ensure timely calculation, set-up, processing, and remittance of all garnishments in accordance with notice details
  • Receive and process new employee information and data changes
  • Transfer time and attendance into payroll
  • Verify vacation/statutory holiday/sick time banks/leaves of absence and related adjustments
  • Review and update employee benefit changes such as RPP, RRSP, TFSA, ESPP, taxable group insurance, and optional coverage deductions
  • Calculate and process termination payments in payroll system and issue records of employment
  • Process terminations in time and attendance system once payments are complete
  • Maintain and administer payroll schedules, deadlines, and organizational policies

A post-secondary education in payroll, accounting, or a related field, combined with 1-2 years of experience in payroll processing, is preferred. IAMGOLD offers a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional development and growth.
