Prairie Mountain Health is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physician Assistant/Clinical Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient interviews and take accurate medical histories
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations and order diagnostic tests as needed
- Diagnose and treat illnesses, develop management plans, and consult with specialist services as required
- Perform procedures and provide counseling on preventative healthcare
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant educational program
- Eligibility to be licensed by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba
- Superior organization skills, ability to work efficiently, and prioritize multiple tasks
- Sound judgment, discretion, and ability to make decisions with confidential patient information
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to effectively communicate with patients and families
