Job Title: Personal Support Worker

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Malaspina Community Resource Services Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Personal Support Worker will provide support and assistance to clients in their homes, promoting independence and dignity. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications and provide personal care to clients
  • Launder clothing and household linens, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, and assist with cooking
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Monitor and report any changes in client condition to management
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
