Job Title: Personal Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Support Worker to join our team at Malaspina Community Resource Services Ltd.

Job Summary:

This is a permanent position working 28 hours per week. The successful candidate will provide support and assistance to clients in their homes, promoting independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications as required
  • Launder clothing and household linens
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Provide companionship and social support
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Cook and assist with meal planning
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations
Requirements:
  • CPR Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
