About This Role

We are looking for a talented Production Assembler to join our team at Pride Bodies Ltd. in Cambridge, Ontario. As an essential member of our Assembly Department, you will be responsible for assembling and fabricating parts for custom truck bodies. If you have strong mechanical skills and can work effectively in a team environment, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:
- Understand instructions and carry them out efficiently within the given deadline;
- Apply safe automotive/manufacturing work practices;
- Read and understand shop drawings to enable independent work;
- Use basic hand tools to perform tasks;
- Install body doors, trim, moldings, and other related hardware;
- Fabricate components such as mud-flap brackets, small mounting plates;
- Mount and install various components such as air tanks and compressors;
- Take all work order packages from start to finish with minimal assistance in a timely manner;

Requirements:
- High School/GED diploma required;
- Able to maintain regular and reliable attendance;
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude;
- Stamina and strength to perform manual labor;
- Able to read and understand engineering drawings;
- Demonstrate mechanical ability and experience;
- Troubleshoot problems and take corrective action;
- Able to work independently and as part of a team;
