Job Title: Community Service Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Community Service Coordinator to join our team at Terrace and District Community Services Society.

Job Summary:

The Community Service Coordinator will be responsible for providing support services to clients in need, including education, experience, and skill development. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and community partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement life skills workshops to support client development
  • Assess client needs and eligibility for specific services
  • Provide suicide and crisis intervention, as well as conflict resolution
  • Liaise with other social services agencies and healthcare providers
  • Maintain program statistics for evaluation and research purposes
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Permanent employment
  • 35 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
