Mainframe Security Architect Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Mainframe Security Architect to join our team at S.i. Systèmes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure mainframe solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with clients, sales, proposal managers, and vendors to architect secure mainframe solutions
  • Act as a bridge between clients and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution
  • Work closely with mainframe system programmers and project managers to deliver secure solutions
  • Document solutions using relevant documentation tools, including Word, Visio, MS Project, and PowerPoint
  • Perform and balance tasks on multiple concurrent projects across multiple customers
  • Mediate and manage architectural conditions, including those contractually required
  • Educate, mentor, and coach teams in applying architectural techniques
  • Accurately document technical artifacts
Requirements:
  • Mainframe Security System ACF2 & RACF SME/Architect
  • 8 years' experience as a z/OS System Programmer
  • SMP/E and system utilities, ACF2, RACF, IO Gen (HCD), Assembler Language knowledge
  • Understanding of SYSPLEX concepts and familiarity with CPU keys (ordering, applying)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingual (French and English)
  • Adaptation to standard, client change management process
