About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our team at Swan River Subway. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present food to a high standard, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  • Assist with food preparation, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work areas.
  • Receive and store supplies, including perishable items, in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is an asset.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
