The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business intelligence concepts and technologies, including data warehousing, ETL processes, and data visualization. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across the University.

Responsibilities:

  • Business Intelligence Solution Development: Design, develop, and implement business intelligence solutions that meet the needs of University stakeholders.
  • Data Issue Resolution: Collaborate with University-wide colleagues to resolve data issues and analyze their potential impact on institutional reporting.
  • Data Management: Maintain OIPA's data dictionaries, manage data extraction/manipulation, and diagnose and resolve data integrity issues.

Requirements:

  • A university degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related discipline.
  • Four (4) years of experience with business intelligence concepts and technologies, including data warehousing, ETL processes, and data visualization.
  • Experience using SQL, Python, or R, and applying machine learning techniques and tools for data analysis and predictive modelling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across the University.
