Job Title: Delivery Driver/Helper

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Delivery Driver/Helper to join our team at Sleep Country Canada. As a key player in our operations, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by ensuring each delivery ends in a smile.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service by delivering products to customers' homes in a professional, friendly, and enthusiastic manner.
  • Work together as part of a team by alternating between driving and helping capacities.
  • Safely operate our automatic 5-ton trucks.
  • Handle and assemble products into customers' homes while following all health and safety procedures.
  • Complete required paperwork for each delivery.
  • Work together as part of the Operations team to exceed goals and expectations.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Physical ability to lift and move large items up to 88lbs (40kg).
  • Ability to work a flexible shift which may include evenings and weekends.
  • Think quickly and ability to tackle problems.
  • Experience operating a 5-ton vehicle or larger is considered an asset.
  • Experience working within a warehouse or delivery environment is considered an asset.
