About the JobThis is a temporary position that requires 40 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will have experience in childcare and possess excellent communication skills. A secondary school graduation certificate and first aid certification are also required.
You will be working in an urban area with optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note that this is not a condition of employment.
The salary for this position is estimated to be around $30,000 - $40,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job Description- Main Responsibilities:
- Provide childcare services to infants and children, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Assume full responsibility for household duties in the absence of parents, including light housekeeping and cleaning.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children.
- Take children to and from school and to appointments.
- Supervise and care for children during playtime and while they are resting.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
- Organize activities such as games and outings for children.
- Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in childcare or a related field.
- Certifications: First Aid Certificate, Child Abuse Registry check, Child welfare check, Criminal record check, Drug test, Basic security clearance.
- Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, time management, patience, honesty.
