Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic Rehabilitation Team. As an Occupational Therapist with CarePartners, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and developing effective care plans. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary care team to promote independence and well-being in patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional assessment and treatment of patients in their homes and communities
- Develop and maintain effective care plans in collaboration with the care team
- Coordinate and supervise Community Support Workers in the field
- Work independently and as an integral member of an interdisciplinary care team
- Provide guidance on workplace Health and Safety
- Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized university
- Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
- Proven computer skills, including email, MS Word, and Outlook
- Strong assessment skills and ability to participate in effective treatment programs
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- French language skills are an asset
