Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at The Hitchin Post Bar & Grill. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy restaurant.
  • Supervise Food Preparation: Oversee the preparation and portioning of food to ensure that it meets our quality control standards.
  • Train Staff: Provide training and guidance to our staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Accurately estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize inventory.
  • Ensure Quality Control: Monitor and maintain the quality of our food and service to ensure that it meets our high standards.
  • Prepare Budgets and Reports: Prepare and submit budgets and reports to management to ensure that our financial goals are met.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints and concerns.
  • Maintain Records: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform our inventory and purchasing decisions.
