Dean, Faculty of Education

Queen's University is seeking a visionary leader to serve as the Dean of the Faculty of Education. As a key member of the university's senior leadership team, the successful candidate will be responsible for advancing the Faculty's mission to develop progressive, ethical, and thoughtful leaders through teaching, research, and professional collaborations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the Faculty's reputation and impact
  • Lead a team of academic and administrative staff to achieve excellence in research, teaching, and service
  • Foster a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and Indigeneity within the Faculty
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners and stakeholders
  • Manage the Faculty's budget and resources to achieve strategic objectives
Requirements:
  • Ph.D. in Education or a related field
  • Proven track record of senior academic and administrative leadership in education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate faculty and staff to achieve excellence
  • Commitment to advancing diversity, equity, inclusion, and Indigeneity
