Queen's University is seeking a visionary leader to serve as the Dean of the Faculty of Education. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the Faculty's mission to develop progressive, ethical, and thoughtful leaders through teaching, research, and professional collaborations.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategic plans to advance the Faculty's research, teaching, and service goals.
- Lead the Faculty's administrative team and provide guidance on budget, human resources, and external relations.
- Foster a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and Indigeneity within the Faculty.
- Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including government agencies, educational institutions, and community organizations.
- Provide leadership and support to the Faculty's research and teaching initiatives.
- Doctoral degree in education or a related field.
- Proven track record of senior academic and administrative leadership in education or a related field.
- Strong research and teaching record in relevant fields.
- Commitment to advancing diversity, equity, inclusion, and Indigeneity.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
