Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional practical nursing services to designated patients, including independent nursing services and administration of prescribed medical treatments.
  • Collaborate and interact with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and discharge.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to the vision, values, goals, and objectives of the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved Licensed Practical Nursing Education program.
  • Certification in IV Therapy; IV Medication Administration.
  • Active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba (CLPNM).
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Recent, related experience in the applicable clinical area.
  • Knowledge of College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba Standards of Practice for Licensed Practical Nurses.
  • Knowledge of College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba Code of Ethics for Licensed Practical Nurses.
  • Knowledge of Scope of practice as documented in the Licensed Practical Nurses Act.
