Job Summary

This role involves designing and implementing mechanical systems throughout the mill, including structural, pump, and piping design. You will work closely with contractors and field installations, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mechanical systems for the mill, applying your engineering skills and expertise.
  • Coordinate and manage projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Analyze and resolve root cause failures, identifying opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve project goals and objectives.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Mechanical Engineering degree with 7-12 years of experience in an industrial setting.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD 3D and experience working with contractors and field installations.
  • Eligibility for APEGGA membership as a P. Eng.
  • Experience in Mechanical Maintenance and knowledge of ASME B31.1 and B31.3, and CSA B149 Codes and Standards (an asset).
