About the Position

This Corporate Vice President position is with the Government of Canada - Western. The job involves leading a team of executives and overseeing department store operations.

Main Duties

  1. Direct the allocation of material, human and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs.
  2. Oversight and coordination of major department establishment and senior staff appointments.
  3. Leadership in coordinating the work of regions, divisions or departments.
  4. Formulation and approval of policies and programs that meet organizational objectives.
  5. Representation of the organization in negotiations and official functions, delegating as necessary.
  6. Career development and delegation of authority to middle managers, directors or other executive staff.

Work Environment
