We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at Lundbeck. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the company's financial planning and analysis functions.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Planning and Analysis: Participate in the preparation and analysis of the annual budget, quarterly estimates, and financial projections in partnership with the lines of businesses and Head of Finance.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly sales adjustments and provisions, including liaising with Business Intelligence and Market Access to ensure accurate accounting for sales adjustments forecast.
- Expense Management: Coordinate expenses with key stakeholders, owning the accrual process, and providing timely tracking and expense analysis to ensure teams are informed of their budget status.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze and report monthly, quarterly, and annual variance between actuals and latest projection for cost centers, reflecting an understanding of underlying drivers for deviations.
- Cash Flow Management: Analyze the monthly cash flow and liaise with the corporate Treasury department.
- Tax and Compliance: Support sales tax reporting, tax installments, transfer pricing, and tax audits with the Finance Director.
- Order-to-Cash Process: Oversee the Order-to-Cash process with the 3PL party, including approving credit limits and returns, reviewing bank and AR reconciliations, and preparing balance sheet analysis.
- Accounting and Compliance: Apply accounting rules and determine implications for the business, including revenue recognition and opex management.
- Ad Hoc Projects: Complete various ad hoc projects and initiatives dealing with cost/benefit analysis, process improvements, and simplification initiatives.
- Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in a finance-related role.
- Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and solid business experience/acumen.
- Education: Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent.
- Designation: Professional accounting/finance designation (CPA) is an asset.
- Language: Bilingual (French and English) is preferred.
