Natural Language Processing (NLP) Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement state-of-the-art NLP models, such as transformers, BERT, and GPT, to solve language-based problems.
  • Develop NLP applications that enable chatbots, voice assistants, and other AI-driven tools to understand and generate natural language.
  • Perform data preprocessing and feature extraction on large text datasets to prepare them for NLP tasks.
  • Experiment with cutting-edge NLP techniques, including developments in deep learning and transfer learning.
  • Deploy NLP models into production environments, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and reliable.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate NLP models into products and services.
  • Monitor and fine-tune model performance to ensure accurate and relevant results.
Requirements:
  • Strong experience in natural language processing techniques, including sentiment analysis, named entity recognition, text classification, and machine translation.
  • Proficiency in machine learning and deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face.
  • Programming and data skills, including proficiency in Python and experience working with NLP libraries such as NLTK, SpaCy, or Stanford NLP.
  • Experience deploying NLP models into production environments using cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization tools like Docker.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Linguistics, or a related field.
  • Equivalent experience in NLP or machine learning is highly valued.
  • 3+ years of experience in NLP or machine learning, with hands-on experience building and deploying NLP models in real-world applications.
