Job Title: Senior Data Engineer

Our client, a leading Microsoft Gold Partner, is seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join their Microsoft Business Solutions team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing Business Intelligence (BI) and large-scale Data Analytics solutions for their clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement efficient data models and pipelines using Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Data Factory.
  • Work with business experts and customers to understand business needs and translate requirements into reporting and data analytics functionality.
  • Assist in scoping, estimation, and task planning for assigned projects.
  • Provide accurate and complete technical architectural documents.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in designing and implementing Azure Data solutions.
  • Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, OLAP technology, and the Microsoft BI Stack (SSIS/SSRS/SSAS).
  • Strong working knowledge of Azure DevOps and proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Graduate-level education in Computer Science or a relevant field, or a widely recognised professional qualification at a comparable level.
