About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced City Manager to join our team at Municipalité de Saint-Aubert. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our municipality and ensuring that our community's needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Policy Development and Implementation
    • Advise on policies and procedures to ensure effective governance and decision-making.
    • Develop and implement policies and programs to achieve our community's goals and objectives.
  • Leadership and Management
    • Lead and manage a team of employees to ensure that our municipality's operations are running smoothly and efficiently.
    • Provide guidance and support to employees to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Financial Management
    • Oversee the development and implementation of our municipality's budget and financial plans.
    • Ensure that our municipality's financial resources are used effectively and efficiently.
  • Community Engagement
    • Build and maintain relationships with community stakeholders to ensure that our municipality is responsive to their needs and concerns.
    • Develop and implement strategies to engage with our community and promote our municipality's services and programs.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as public administration, business administration, or a related field.
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership or management role in a municipal government or a related field.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong leadership and management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
