Job Title: Data Quality Developer

Join IBM Canada Limited as a Data Quality Developer and contribute to the development of new methods for automation in QA.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Quality Developer to work closely with the Cloud Pak for Data core platform development team to ensure quality of code and product.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Development, and Architecture to understand and guide product features and testing.
  • Contribute to the development of new methods for automation in QA.
  • Lead, attend, and participate in scrum meetings to understand development features.
  • Manage testing environment and test data using various tools such as Jenkins & GIT.
  • Execute and update test cases and scenarios. Perform usability, functional, and regression testing.
  • Evaluate and test software bug fixes, extensions, and features.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of professional experience in Software testing.
  • Experience with UI automation frameworks.
  • Experience with build, testing, and continuous integration tools.
  • Proficient in automation tools like Selenium, Puppeteer, etc.
  • Proficient in Javascript, node.js, or any other programming languages.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Python.
  • Experience in CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
  • Experience in REST APIs and REST client like Postman.
