About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installer to join our team at Lions Drywall Taping and Construction Ltd. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for installing, finishing, and repairing drywall to ensure a smooth and durable surface for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster to create a seamless finish
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for installation
  • Cure freshly plastered surfaces to ensure durability
  • Fills joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife
  • Finish corners and angles, and create decorative designs in the finish coat as required
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets to meet project specifications
  • Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow the coat to dry
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in drywall installation and finishing
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials
