Job Title: Drywall Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Specialist to join our team at Sandhu Drywall Ltd. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for installing and finishing drywall to ensure a smooth and professional finish.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and assist other workers in the installation and finishing of drywall
  • Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster to create a seamless finish
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for drywall installation
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets to ensure a precise fit
  • Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow coats to dry
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Bending, crouching, and kneeling are required for this role
  • Hand-eye coordination is essential for measuring and cutting drywall
  • The job is physically demanding and requires standing for extended periods
  • Repetitive tasks are a part of this role
