About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at Piccadilly Indian Cuisine Ltd. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Payroll Administration: Prepare and process payroll, including calculating salaries, wages, and benefits.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including trial balances, and other financial statements as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be required to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
