Job Title: Automotive Technician

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team at BMW MINI Laval. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic procedures, repairs, and maintenance on BMW and MINI vehicles.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on BMW and MINI vehicles
  • Check systems and components to ensure they are secure and functioning properly
  • Isolate problematic systems or components
  • Repair or replace worn parts
  • Follow a checklist to ensure that each critical part of the vehicle is examined
  • Inspect hoses, belts, caps, fuel systems, brakes, and other problematic elements
  • Review work orders and discuss with supervisor
  • Inspect motors in operation, road test, and test systems and components using computerized diagnostics and other devices to diagnose and isolate faults
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components, including fuel system, brakes, steering and suspension, engine and drive train, emission control and exhaust, cooling and climate control, and electrical and electronic systems

Requirements:

  • DEP in automobile mechanics
  • CPA card
  • Automotive Technician 3rd – 1st class
  • Knowledge of electronic diagnostic equipment
  • A valid driver's license with a safe driving record is required
