Infectious Disease Physician Associate

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Associate Physician to join our team at Fraser Health. As an Associate Physician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our infectious disease services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in patient rounds and assessments, working collaboratively with the attending physician and other care team members.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with common infectious diseases, in consultation with the attending physician.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Provide education and supervision to trainees and other healthcare professionals as needed.
Requirements:
- Medical degree from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of two years of postgraduate training in infectious disease medicine.
- Eligibility for registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia.
- Valid Canadian citizenship or permanent residency.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in English language and computer skills.
