CNC Machinist Job Description

Kamcraft Kitchen Cabinets Ltd. is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to fabricate high-precision parts and components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and charts to understand production requirements.
  • Set up and adjust production machinery/tools to ensure accurate and efficient fabrication.
  • Maintain and repair precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate measurements.
  • Document and report any deviations from specifications and tolerances.
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments.
  • Operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools to fabricate parts and components.
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in CNC machining.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
