About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at Soni & Sons Construction. As a Construction Laborer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading Materials: Assist in loading and unloading construction materials, such as concrete and asphalt, from trucks and equipment.
  • Erecting and Dismantling Forms and Scaffolding: Help to erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mixing and Spreading Materials: Assist in mixing and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt to ensure proper application and finish.
  • Assisting with Drilling and Blasting: Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
  • Assisting with Framing and Building: Help to frame houses, erect walls, and build roofs, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Demolition and Debris Removal: Assist in demolishing buildings and removing rubble and other debris from construction sites.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, including cleaning up chemical spills and other contaminants.
  • Traffic Direction: Direct traffic at or near construction sites, ensuring the safety of workers and the general public.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: The role requires physical stamina and the ability to handle heavy loads.
  • Manual Dexterity: Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination are essential for this role.
  • Repetitive Tasks: The role involves repetitive tasks, requiring attention to detail and a high level of focus.
