Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Systems Software Developer to join our R&D team at Waterloo Technical Inc.

About the Role:

This is a dynamic role that offers exposure to a diverse set of projects and industries. As an Embedded Systems Software Developer, you will work closely with our technical partners and contribute to shaping the future of innovative consumer products.

The ideal candidate will have experience writing, debugging, and functional testing embedded systems, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop embedded software for consumer electronics products
  • Collaborate with electrical engineering and software development teams to bring projects to life
  • Contribute to the design and prototyping process to ensure successful product launches
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues with embedded systems

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Experience with embedded system development and software debugging
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
