Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent
- Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and performance
- Conduct performance management and coaching to support employee growth and development
- Develop and maintain positive employee relations through effective communication and conflict resolution
- Stay up-to-date on emerging HR trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure the organization remains competitive and compliant
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business, Commerce, or related field
- CHRP certification considered an asset
- 2-3+ years of human resources experience in a specialist or generalist role
- Experience in an operational or industrial environment considered an asset
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate and work with people at different levels across and outside the organization
- Team player with excellent collaboration skills that motivate others
- Knowledgeable in human resources practices and legislation
- Proven time management and multi-tasking skills to set priorities and objectives while remaining composed under pressure
- Computer savvy, including proficiency in MS Office applications and ERP software
- Ability to exercise appropriate levels of discretion and confidentiality
