Job Title: Chief Cybersecurity Strategist

Estimated Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 per year

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Irving Oil as a Cybersecurity Specialist, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and resilience of our technology infrastructure. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and managing technology and cybersecurity risks to protect our information and system assets.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, with experience in risk management, threat intelligence, and security testing. You will work closely with our IT teams to develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies, ensuring that our systems remain secure and resilient in the face of emerging threats.

About You
  • You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
  • You have at least 7 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong focus on risk management, threat intelligence, and security testing
  • You have experience working with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), complex application environments, and various development platforms for Web, Mobile, and/or low-code app development
  • You are proficient in security frameworks such as NIST CSF, RNF, ISO 27005, and CIS CC v8.1, and hold certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, CISM, or Offensive Security
