Job Description

We are seeking a Co-op, Data Optimization to provide key strategic support to our data optimization work. The successful candidate will work closely with our CRM-DS team to manage data, develop data literacy, and provide impeccable client service.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data management, ticket queue management, and data literacy development. They will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on customer service.

The Co-op, Data Optimization will report to the Senior Specialist, Data Steward, and will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out client interviews and need-based requirements
  • Determining best-practice solutions for data capture and entry
  • Ensuring data accuracy, timeliness, and completeness
  • Importing data to the CRM based on established standards
  • Communicating significant changes via appropriate channels
  • Establishing and updating documentation as required
  • Carrying out audits on imported data as required
  • Documenting, troubleshooting, and resolving issues within ticketing software
  • Establishing and updating data literacy training documentation as required
Qualifications

We are looking for a passionate individual who is interested in making a difference. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Enrolled in a University degree or Community College diploma in Library Sciences, Library Technician, Information Technology, Systems Administration, which requires a co-op placement
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with an emphasis on customer service
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of software products
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively with other Foundation staff
  • Ability to work in a changing fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to anticipate potential downstream effects of data changes
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • A team player
